Sebring International Raceway seeks a talented professional to join us in the position of Director, Marketing and Communications based in our Sebring, Florida office.
This position is responsible for managing the team and execution of all marketing and communications strategies for the track.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Responsible for all corporate and ticket sales collateral that is used to promote Sebring International Raceway and the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh From Florida.
Responsible for creating advertising creative that is used in national and local media. Media creative includes but is not limited to television, radio, print, outdoor and digital.
Managing the relationship with the advertising agency to create advertising plan for IMSA event that is negotiated and implemented by the agency.
Orchestrate, implement and analyze social media plans that send the correct message to the correct audiences to create results.
Create and implement a public relations strategy that will garner attention for Sebring International Raceway in non-traditional markets and outlets.
Responsible for creating and implementing a ticket sales strategy that is sustainable annually as well event-by-event strategies that will allow track to maximize ticket revenue.
Work with Business Development to create and fulfill sponsorship promotions/activations.
Work with advertising agency to create and fulfill media promotions.
Manage and update track website, including content creation and strategy.
Approximate Travel Required: 10%, including weekends.
A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years marketing and communications management in a fast-paced busy environment. Motorsports experience a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and guest service related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized and flexible. The ability to interact with people at all levels in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.
