NASCAR Diversity Internship – Analytics & Insights
The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) seeks the exceptional, the talented and the driven to contribute to its success as one of North America’s premier sports. The NASCAR Diversity Internship Program (NDIP) is a 10-week, paid summer internship that targets diverse college students. NASCAR Diversity Interns contribute to the complex motorsports workforce; learn from leading NASCAR executives in weekly Lunch and Learns; and network with industry professionals.
Many participants secure full-time employment within NASCAR and the motorsports industry upon completion of the program.

What I will be doing…
The intern will work closely with members of the Analytics & Insights team to use research and other metrics to support various business objectives throughout the NASCAR organization. Responsibilities include compiling and analyzing data, interpreting results, collaborating with team members, and developing deliverables / communications for appropriate stakeholder audiences. Through these efforts, the intern will learn how to help decision makers make informed decisions through actionable insights.
Skills I need to bring to this role…
Major Area of Study: Business, Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, Communications, etc.
Courses: 101 – Market Research, Media Research (TV, digital, and/or social media), Statistics, Predictive Analytics
Prior experienc: Any data analysisd.
Other preferred:Candidates with strong foundation in analytics will be the best match for this internship.
