Job Description

NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Transportation Coordinator based in our corporate headquarters in Daytona Beach, FL.

 

 

The Transportation Coordinator duties include, but are not limited to:

 

Operate motor vehicle(s) and provide transportation services for assigned passengers as needed.

 

Provide regular recurring courier service.

 

Assist with the annual ordering and delivery process of fleet vehicles.

 

Ensure tags and registrations are current and assist in any annual renewal activity as needed.

 

Manage the assignment and tracking of spare vehicles.

 

Maintain accurate vehicle inventory list(s) and database updates with key information (vehicle type, model year, assigned driver, VIN, tag number, etc.).

 

Coordinate regularly scheduled vehicle warranty maintenance activities as required.

 

Wash and detail vehicles on an as-needed basis.

 

Approximate travel 20%, including weekends

 

 

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

 

One (1) year certificate from college or technical school; and/or one (1) year related experience and/or training in vehicle service; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

  • A valid Florida driver's license, clean driving record, criminal background and pre-employment substance abuse test in accordance with company guidelines/standards is required, as well as participation in random substance abuse testing program throughout the course of employment.
  • Experience with general operation and maintenance of RVs and motor coaches, including diagnostics and repairs of basic mechanical equipment is preferred. 
  • RVDA or RVIA technician certification a plus.
