    Job Description

    NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Senior Account Executive, Brand Marketing based in our Charlotte, NC office.

     

    The Senior Account Executive, Brand Marketing is responsible for providing guidance around the company’s intellectual property as well as key marketing initiatives and campaigns. 

     

    Travel: 10-15% including some weekends.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

     

    • Oversee elements for key marketing initiatives including Season Launch and Playoffs

     

    • Provide guidance around brand direction for internal and external stakeholders

     

    • Manage campaign production timelines and approval processes

     

    • Oversee internal and agency status reports

     

    • Manage marketing campaign asset library

     

    • Carry out the full year media strategy, providing back-up support and assistance as needed for media trafficking and schedule changes/updates

     

    • Support development of intellectual property and guideline documents

     

    • Serve as key point of contact between Brand Marketing and numerous internal departments for approvals of partner programs and materials that use company intellectual property

     

    • Collaborate with internal Creative Design team in living out brand direction

     

    • Oversee licensed product approval system

     

    • Facilitate day-to-day brand identity issues/questions

     

    • Liaison with legal team in review, approval and usage of new intellectual property

     

    • Budget management and tracking

     

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four (4) year college or university and three to four (3-4) years of experience in marketing, marketing/digital agency, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Project management experience in sports and/or consumer brand industry strongly desired.
