NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join our team in the position of Human Resources Specialist based in our Daytona Beach, FL office.
Responsible for supporting both the Payroll and Benefits teams with Payroll processing and tracking, enrolling and terminating benefits for variable hour employees.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Obtaining verification of payroll time keeping and other payroll validations.
Payroll processing for assigned companies, including: Data entry, time card processing, balancing and pay check distribution.
Payroll Tax reconciliation.
Other payroll duties as required.
Help process the monthly benefit invoice reconciliation for the Benefits Department.
Track and process monthly Commuter Benefits.
Prepare, send, and track termination paperwork and checklists.
Assist in all Company Wellness Initiatives.
Responsible for all benefits filing. Responsible for maintenance of various ancillary files including organizing and inventory of historical files in conjunction with the Document Retention Policy.
Assist with miscellaneous large and small-scale mailings and distributions.
Responsible for creating employee communications. Accurately and professionally disseminating wellness and benefit information to employees via Company intranet, e-mail blasts, or newsletters.
Responsible for maintaining annual calendar for benefits group.
Approximate travel 5%, including weekends.
