Perform a variety of duties related to the company’s promotional vehicle program, as well as provide transportation and courier services as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Operate motor vehicle(s) and provide transportation services as requested.
Provide regular recurring courier service as required (twice daily between the International Motorsports Center and the various Daytona area office buildings, as well as on an as-needed basis).
Assist with the annual ordering and delivery process of the promotional vehicle fleet.
- Toyota / Lexus: deliveries typically arrive in late first quarter or early second quarter (March - April).
- Ford & GM: deliveries typically arrive in fourth quarter (November -December)
- Assist assigned drivers with the turn-in and pick-up process as well as any vehicle inspection(s) required by the manufacturer prior to turn-in.
Ensure tags and registrations are current and assist in any annual renewal activity as needed.
Manage the assignment and tracking of spare vehicles (Daytona fleet).
Maintain accurate vehicle inventory list(s) and database updates (Autotrak) with key information (vehicle type, model year, assigned driver, VIN, tag number, etc.).
Coordinate vehicle regular scheduled warranty maintenance activities as required (Daytona fleet). Typically this includes oil changes and tire rotations at specified intervals.
Wash and detail vehicles on an as-needed basis.
Care and operation of Motor-coach systems.
Approximate travel 20%, including weekends
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One (1) year certificate from college or technical school; and/or one (1) year related experience and/or training in vehicle service; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated experience creating reports and correspondence based upon read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of organization.
