    Job Title:                Part Time Official (Member Services)

    Summary:

    This position is responsible for accepting and processing membership and credential applications at events.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    This position is responsible for accepting and processing membership and credential applications at events.

    Process Team, media, VIP, partner and guest credential applications and assign credentials.

    Handle all aspects involving membership and credentials for teams, sponsors, media and VIP’s.

    Accept payments for full season credentials issued to teams and partners as deemed appropriate.

    Accept payments for single event credentials issued to teams and partners as deemed appropriate.

    Balance monies accepted at end of day and submit report.

    Approximate Travel Required: 100%, including weekends.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Must have credit check due to cash / payment handling.

     

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    GED or High School – any guest service or data input experience.

     

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

     

    COMPUTER SKILLS

    Proficient in all Company employed software and hardware.

     

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
