    Job Description

    Provides support to the Facility Manager in maintaining and overseeing equipment, facilities and grounds; ensure all facilities are maintained at the highest standard level to provide safe environment for staff, visitors, and the public; supervises and coordinates activities of other maintenance workers engaged in maintaining and repairing grounds by performing the job duties below.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


    Directs workers engaged in ground maintenance activities, such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, and raking and disposing of leaves and refuse.


    Directs workers assisting other departments as requested, including engaged in the general cleaning and up keep of buildings.


    Directs workers assisting other departments as requested, including engaged in painting and performing structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings.


    Directs workers assisting other departments as requested, including moving equipment, furniture and unloading and storing supplies.


    Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies.


    Inspects completed work for conformance to specifications, and standards.


    Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.


    Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.


    Performs activities of workers supervised.
