    Job Description

    NASCAR Event Management seeks a talented professional to join us in the position of Part-Time

    Credentials Assistant. Primarily responsible for issuing credentials to guests at various racing events throughout the racing season for multiple national series. Also responsible for customer service and clerical assistance. Must be available for frequent travel during the race season; i.e., appx. 1-3 weekends per month.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

    • Travel to various events for all three national series
    • Assist with set up of the credentials office for each event
    • Verify identification and issue credentials for guests of the teams and company sponsors
    • Check in NASCAR licensed members and verify membership status
    • Investigate and resolve issues related to guests ( ex, guests not included on a list)
    • Balance cash and credit transactions at the end of each business day

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and minimum one (1) year of related experience; and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
    • Face-to-face customer interaction experience
    • Experience acting as a company representative through effective customer service and successful problem solving
    • Experience with cash or credit card transactions; basic math and accounting proficiency
    • Experience working around sensitive or confidential information; ability to protect financial integrity
    • Must be available for frequent weekend travel
    • Credit check required
