The Primary responsibility of this position is to officiate the race event by directing competitors on the proper procedures for participation in practice, qualifying and the race.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Primary responsibilities:
- Proficient understanding of the pit road rules and all race assignment positions pertaining to officiating the race.
- Successfully pass the pit road officials exam as administered.
- Ability to Officiate the race on pit road or in other locations using applicable technology.
- Assist with traffic control, crowd control and credential verification.
- Implement and apply the appropriate procedures during practice, qualifying and the race including pit road and other race assignments in a consistent, timely, authoritative, and professional manner.
- Establish and maintain proper communications with the assigned crew chief(s) and / or Race Control as required.
- Properly execute and confirm any directive from Race Control.
- Display willingness and ability to learn new software programs created for race officiating.
- Competent use of standard technology such as keyboard, mouse, windows-type applications, etc.
- Maintain equipment to avoid damage and ensure that hardware is properly stored for use at future events.
- Competent understanding of radio use, procedures and etiquette.
- Attend meetings, educational seminars and team building exercises.
- Handle issues appropriately in the garage and pit areas.
- Report any conflicts with teams, team members, policy, and procedures to your supervisor.
- Provide input/solutions for improvement to current policy and procedures.
Other responsibilities:
- Work one or more assigned inspection station(s) for initial through post-race inspections.
- Assist in pre and post work day operations to include assembly and disassembly of inspection equipment.
- Unload and load haulers, as requested.
- Assist with transportation of vehicles, as requested.
- Use the Mobile Inspection Application to capture all inspection infractions.
- Assist R&D personnel as required (i.e Roamer arm help, or help with any race equipment that has been impounded for further evaluation)
Perform other duties as assigned.

- Counsel business units on execution of and issues related to privacy, content licenses and production services, including, but not limited to, rights and clearances/releases, music licensing, copyright and fair use issues, software licenses, broadcast and other exhibition/transmission of content
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Draft, review and negotiate content licenses, production services agreements, and related agreements
- Review and draft legal correspondence

- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school, admission to a state bar and in good standing; and a minimum of three (3) years of legal experience in a law firm and/or corporate legal department

The NASCAR Foundation seeks a Director of Development, responsible for the fundraising and revenue goals for The Foundation. The Director will develop and execute an annual fundraising plan that includes special events, at-track activation, sponsor engagement, individual gifts, major gifts and legacy gifts. Travel 20%, including weekends.
Essential Duties
- Develop and execute an annual fundraising plan
- Oversee fundraising efforts to support The Foundation's programs
- Develop, implement and monitor progress towards short and long term fundraising strategies and goals
- Cultivate relationships with current and prospective funders and supporters
- Maintain oversight of all fundraising activities including special events, major giving, direct mail appeals, and corporate partnership initiatives
- Serve as a public representative of the organization, including cultivating relationships with community members, including prospective volunteers and supporters, in order to build awareness of and commitment to the work of The Foundation
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports as requested by department leadership
- Participate in meetings, staff meetings and other organizational meetings as directed
- Directly supervises fundraising team
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; and a minimum of eight years related experience and/or training in fundraising and management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

NASCAR Digital Media seeks a talented professional to work for our Digital Media team based at our Charlotte, NC office. The Coordinator, Digital Platform will provide coordination on NASCAR Digital Media’s Platform Team with the technical operation of NASCAR’s digital platform (web properties and mobile), including live products, mobile applications, live video streaming, data feeds and social media integration. Person in this role will be at the forefront of the digital evolution and must prepared to take NASCAR to a leadership position among all sports properties in the discipline.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Assist in the day-to-day technical operation plan of the NASCAR platform and user experience, including live digital products, mobile applications, live video streaming, data feeds and social media integration.
- Assist in writing requirements and quality assurance testing for new NASCAR digital projects along with any additional requests from Project Management team.
- Create and update pages for live video and VOD applications, including meta-tagging, syndication, and mobile video and data delivery as well as other appropriate new technologies.
- Prepare and distribute race weekend materials to appropriate parties including Run of Show list, third party notifications, driver in-car camera emails, race weekend reports and other digital collateral.
- Triage and document digital issues from internal employees, third party companies and stakeholders using department designated tools (Slack, JIRA, Google Sheets, etc.).
- Provide weekly quality assurance testing on NASCAR.com digital products and web pages to ensure correct online displays and functionality.
- Manage NASCAR Digital Media Services’ sites during live weekend events by providing quality assurance testing for all page links, feed connections and any user-facing web pages, while in direct communication with the race track, NASCAR productions, etc.
- Handle coordination of all live digital products and events during race weekends, along with any additional weekend support, which may require work outside of normal business hours.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university required; or one (1) to two (2) years related digital or e-commerce experience, internship and/or training; or experience commensurate with the above requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and basic understanding of WordPress, Google Products, Brightcove, JIRA, Amazon Web Services, etc.

NASCAR is seeking a professional for our Manager, Client Marketing & Media Planning opening in our Digital Media department. The employee in this role is a key member of the Digital Ad Sales team focused on supporting digital advertising activities throughout the sales development process. This person works to facilitate advertising campaigns from start to finish, including ideation and media plan direction and execution. They will layout timelines for project implementation and provide oversight on delivery/execution and reporting.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Act as a key interface with NASCAR Digital Sales team on new, revised and potential opportunities for digital sales integrations.
- Use NASCAR, NASCAR Digital and Advertising industry knowledge to lead collaboration with the sales, editorial, social and other internal teams to ideate and conceptualize new and customized programs for partner campaigns.
- Develop PowerPoint presentations for sales requests and post-campaign reports on assigned programs.
- Work with sales and marketing teams to interpret and develop media plans based on campaign KPIs and sales strategy
- Collaborate with stakeholders to vet concepts, navigate program logistics and identify costs/budgets for sales opportunities.
- Serve as the day-to-day internal sales team lead for all digital media plan submissions, plan revisions and planning inquiries during the initial sale
- Enter data in client-provided templates and into OMS to generate digital media plans
- Create and enter Insertion Orders in Operative One order management system and manage order through approval process
- Communicate ad specifications and creative lead times to Advertisers/Agencies
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels to have an in-depth knowledge of the industry as well as client/brand business needs and objectives
- Work in conjunction with internal stakeholders and teams to understand the platform and brand guidelines as they pertain to digital media and advertising opportunities
- Lead kick-off calls with Sales, Revenue Operations/Digital Campaign Specialists, and other internal stakeholders to communicate pertinent information required to launch and manage campaigns.
- Attend weekly meetings with the Sales Reps and Revenue Operations/Digital Campaign Specialists to discuss the status of digital campaigns and address any issues
- Oversee digital campaigns to ensure communications and deliverables are met once a program has been sold in by sales team. Attend weekly meetings to discuss the status of digital campaigns, share updates from sales and provide recommendations to address any issues.
- Other special projects as assigned.
- Travel : 5% including weekends
Required Skills/Experience:
- A minimum of three (3) years current digital media or sales development / marketing services experience commensurate with the above requirements. College degree preferred.
- Proficient on company provided hardware and software including PowerPoint and Excel
- A working knowledge and understanding of Digital Media Advertising programs and campaigns is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to find solutions for clients.
- Excellent communication skills, including a professional telephone presence and effective business writing abilities.
- Must have good understanding of programming concepts.
